Those times are gone when we could die for our friends…
It’s not that ‘today’, it’s not that ‘belief’, its not that ‘care’.
Friends are like a clone of our ownself, we believe ourselves less than we do our friends. It is just like asking God for a boon and he sends you a friend, and you simply become overjoyed straight away.
We live every moment trying to figure out how they might be, what they may be doing right now; but imagination is limited and misleading. There may be instances that they may not be thinking about us at all, even though we are investing so much mentally in them, spending precious moments reminiscing about them. It’s like the biggest jeopardy ever – to destroy friendship by masquerading as a friend.
Nowadays there are more tough times than smoother moments, it’s hard to sift through good and bad. Men and women alike, its a mixed bag of the good, the bad and the ugly; hard to fathom the true intentions and forecasting the long term situations to be experienced with open eyes. These are the toughest times to befriend someone and believe that the other one will reciprocate our thoughts and feelings about them. We will instead find loss of temper, disbelief, frustration, false allegation and even robbery.
Those times are gone when we could die for our friends, and could march till the extreme extents ignoring even our families, just to accompany them. It’s not that ‘today’, it’s not that ‘belief’, its not that ‘care’.
